Well, this was absolutely THE most perfect Michigan morning. High 60's, Blue skies, slight breeze with just a touch of cooling to the skin, Sunshine that warmed but did not cause discomfort. Spike and I enjoyed a lovely long walk in and around all our usual morning "haunts"---the local cemetary, of course included in this morning jaunt. He was quite insistent that we cover as much ground as possible and now is laying on the cool tile guarding the front door. I think this kind of morning definitely makes up for most of those frigidly gray mornings that we had this past Winter where the only thing that made sense was to stay in bed and pull the covers over one's head. Ahh, so many nice moments around here.

I couldn't agree more. This was definitely one of those mornings, I was sorry I have agreed to drive in Nick and Sam every morning, because my clan would have walked. Nonetheless, I couldn't thank the Lord enough. Thoroughly enjoyed the sights, smells and sounds. Even an 11:00 trip around the block with my Ed and Jim, was not taxing nor too hot. Let's just remember these on those gray, frigid mornings.
