Luke's 4th Birthday

Luke had a great 4th Birthday at the Denver Zoo with about 10 of his friends. They got a special animal viewing, a parachute game, and of course, cupcakes! This might be the first year he didn't cry when everyone sang happy birthday :-) Four?! Crazy!

8 Years - and a more recent picture :-)

8 Years ago today - up in Beaver Creek!

Last night Paige had a girls night out and Luke and I went to buy flowers (after frozen Yogurt). We then came home and finished watching Winnie the Pooh (we've been reading from the same Pooh book I read to the other kids from and he loves it).

Then this morning out for Luke / Daddy run in the stroller to meet up with Paige at Starbucks after her workout. Luke gathered a billion leaves into the stroller.

I can't think of a better way to spend the start of our Anniversary Day! (other than to provide an updated picture of us as a couple from a party this past Sunday. I think we look none worse for the wear and tear of 8 years, especially the fetching Mrs. Sheen :-))

Luke's frequent causes of time-outs these days

The opening line of this commercial is spot on with Luke.

"I'm in a time-out because apparently, riding the dog like a small horse if FROWNED UPON IN THIS ESTABLISHMENT!"

JACK THE RIPPER

He claimed his first victim on September 2, 1888...

The Ripper is commonly held to  have killed at least five prostitutes in the Whitechapel area of London's East End in the fall of 1888:

Mary Ann "Polly" Nichols
Annie Chapman

Mary Jane Kelly
