A Reminder of the Jefferson Rope

Ah the days of yore. the rope hanging from the boat house, beckoning you to swing. An amazing discovery this year up at the cottage....another rope swing. so I have been on this lake for over 10 years and never knew about this. Apparently some yahoos climbed a tree (50ft) and attached a rope with a ski handle. They also were kind enough to build a launch pad with stairs. It is all on state land, so no one is there to complain.

But you can't simply begin by swinging...Oh no, that would not be cottage like.
