Boston Trip!

Finally, pictures from the Boston trip! We had so much fun and Luke had the time of his life. He still talks about it all the time. And I know, I know...there are no actual pictures of the reason we were there...the marathon! By the time Luke and I got to the finish line it was at least 10 people deep everywhere and I didn't stand a chance catching a photo of Kevin running. Oh, and I forgot my camera too, so that didn't help :-) But we did got lots of great pics. We stayed a few days after marathon day and went to the aquarium and children's museum. Mostly pics are of Luke or Luke and Kevin. I'm still really bad about getting pics of all of us. I just get wrapped up in taking the photos!

Nuclear Stress Test

Why do they call it that? Sounds like they are going to do an A-Test with you as ground zero. But anyway, I have just scheduled my  biennual appointment for a nuclear stress test for July 12 starting at 7:30 am. Means I will have to get up at 6:30 am to get to SCS for the test... no food or drink before hand. Why I did this to myself I do not know. I guess we all like to punish ourselves in one way or the other. the treadmill isn't all that bad... it is the lying on your back with your arms strapped over your head for 40 minutes whilst the camera slowly goes all around your chest before you even get on the treadmill. Then, you do the pictures once again after the treadmill. Treadmill takes about 9 minutes.... the pictures and other stuff take a couple of hours.  

Ok...ok... so Boston blew it.... Now we have to have Chicago knock off the Sharks

And Montreal take out the Broad Street Bullies from Philadelphia...

So I got my wish...

Maybe I am just prophetic. So tonight The Bruins beat Philadelphia... Then San Jose gets whipped by the Black Hawks and we have a guaranteed Stanley Cup series with two original six teams... Huzzah! On a Side note, Chris Chelios says he will finally retire at the young age of 48. His body tells him so.

Game 7

I would really like to see Montreal knock off Pittsburg tonight .... and last night Chicago knocked off Vancouver so they advance, too....  Wouldn't it be nice to have an all original 6 Stanley Cup....

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY

To all the mothers out there... From all of us who are not

No Doubt about it....

Its  like I told you,  big brother, San Jose was  the  better team. That said, the refereeing left a  lot to be  desired.

Who were those masked men?

Where did that team come from? Just shows what desperation can do. But sadly, since they got that out of their system, it does not bode well for them Saturday... in San Jose.

I don't want to even watch anymore...

They are so pathetic... playing defense all the time... getting constantly beaten to the puck... They are just a mediocre team now with the salary cap and kids like they have now need a coach who hollers at them to get them motivated....
It's a simple game. "You pass the puck... you catch the puck... you shoot the puck." Old time hockey is gone forever.

It's....it's Scotty Bowman's fault...

Yeah... that's it... it's Scotty's fault... he should not have left... Actually, they looked outskated the entire game.... It looks like a very short run if they keep that up.
