SMACZNIE!

Meems and I met Uncle Stan and Phoof at the new location for the Polish festival. Used to be a Freedom Hill, but Macomb County closed it down to all festivals to save money. So now it was appropriately on the grounds of the Polish Century Club in Sterling Heights. Not bad... nice Polish band playing and we did sample the local quisine... golomki, kielbasa, kapusta, city chicken and pierogis, with some mashed potatoes thrown as a glue to hold it all together. Then we topped it off with a nice cold brew. We gave it a couple of hours, then split.

  1. ooohhhh....does that sound good. Did you happen to stop at the Polish Market which is kitty corner and bring home some of that delicious fare? I can only hope I can garner some for breakfast this morning. One of these years, maybe next, I'll have to convince my brood to go there and taste the wares and atmosphere of my FINE heritage. Might have to drive up to the Market before hand. Geez, you got my mouth watering already. Capntain Crunch can't quite quench that taste. See you soon. Love ME
