Good food, fun water slides and pool for the kids, drinks for everybody and even the rain did not dampen anyones spirits.... The festivities went on as planned and Cole celebrates her 6th birthday.
Ahh, yes, where does the time go? Nicole and Hannah seemed to revel in the attnetion yesterday, though I think Nicole would revel in an insurance seminar. There was nothing that dampened the spirits yesterday, except maybe too much ice in your spirits...after in melted...and watered down the...oh never mind. From beer flavored snow cones, to two year olds going head first into the wrong side of a wading pool...this party had it all. Food and drinks were awesome, as was the company. And when the children seemed to wind down a bit, all it took was a few bounces in the bounce house by an unnamed adult, and the house was filled with more than a dozen frolicking kidlets once more. Nothing like a party for a six year old to get adults motivated to skip rope, jump in a bouncy and slide down slides...ok, maybe a birthday wasn't necessary, but it was happening nonetheless. Thanks for everything T&D, had a great time.
I've actually wanted to rent one of those bouncy castles just for a weekend with the kids. Play music and bounce in it all night. Or even rent it for an adult party.... frozen margaritas, 80's pop music..... few calls to 911.... priceless.
