yes, it's amazing, as was the boy who could barely speak, yet listen to any piano piece on the radio, sit down at the piano and immediately duplicate it, yet he doesn't take lessons, nor can read sheet music...or the little boy who could name all the baseball teams, their players, and averages many years ago. Anomalies of nature abound, and when they're like this, we are in awe, yet when they manifest themselves in people like John Merrick, or Chang and Yang, we put them in freak shows and are attracted yet repulsed by them. We applaud God for some and want to put others in institutions; just depending on how well they fit into what we've constructed as our "livable society." The thin man and women are high paid models, and the fat kid, is berated and ridiculed for not exercising enough, or watching what he eats. We are an ignorant, judgemental society, and yet we are not the "oddity of nature." Quel dommage!!!
