Cyclists are like Goalies - When they do 'bad' they feel 'shame'

Ok, I know that cycling is an obscure sport. Which is why I need to be the one to point this out.

On the podium in the Tour of Flanders, Peter Sagan (young, brash but also very talented rising cycling star) pinched the bum of one of the podium girls. Ahhhh stupid youth...

Sagan caught in the act
So I'm not going to get into a debate regarding whether this was to be expected from a 23 year guy (who probably had a couple drinks post race) presented with hot, scantily clad podium girls after spending the last several days crushed together in a peloton of gaunt, sweaty guys.

One of the more talented (and wiser) gaunt, sweaty guys - Andy Schleck

Yeahhhhh.... it's not appropriate behavior for an athlete, but I don't know that I had much better than a crude sophomoric behavior at 23 either.

Anyway - his (somewhat creepy) apology video is pretty hysterical if you compare it to the opening scene of the hockey movie Slap Shot - where the goalie talks about being put in the penalty box and feeling 'shame'.

Here is Sagan's apology:

And the scene from Slap Shot:

Although I'm not sure why a Slovak accent sounds so close to a thick French-Canadian accent. But at least they both feel 'shame' for doing bad.
