THE LUCK OF THE IRISH TO YE (even tho you are Polish)

Happy St. Paddy's Day to all! I accidentally wore the only green work-suitable top I own yesterday, so my friend Brilly gifted me with these glasses so I have something to wear today. This picture was taken yesterday. But I will be wearing the glasses today.

And Brendan surprised me last night by coming home with the fixings for corned-beef-and-cabbage, which is, as you will remember, my most FAVORITE meal, and I haven't had it in AGES. I told him to wait for this weekend ot make it since I try to eat more restrictively during the week. Can't wait! We are also going to see the Tigers in a spring training game this Saturday, and the weather should be awesome for that. Good times.

p.s. Is "restrictively" even a word?

  1. irregardless, I know what you mean. Anyhow, glad to hear you will be enjoying your fine Irish meal. Mom offered it to us last Sunday, but I declined for Katie and I. The only way my wife really likes corned beef is on a reuben, and with her dieting so well, we're trying to avoid coming into contact with any of her delectibles. Hoping Terry has some luck as well this week and end, since he is off today for sunny Nevada. Not that he'll be out of doors too much, but he and his gambling cronies will be rubbing the blarney stone for sure. Can you rub it for luck, or just kiss it? Oh well, Irish jigs, rabbits feet, and leprechaun's gold, swing a black cat, and doff your hat...to the day more than the saint, and to Irish everywhere, either here or Eire!
