So I open the refrigerator this morning and saw... darkness. The bulb has finally burned out. Went to CVS to get a new small 40 watt appliance bulb. I know I did not have any around the house. After all, how often do you need them. My Refrigerator is 11 years old and this is the first time I had to buy one in..... at least 11 years. I guess the manufacturers of the appliance bulb must have felt the same limitation on their sales each year until someone came up with the bright idea.... package the bulbs, two to a pack and VOILA.... instantly double our annual sales. Alas... now I have an small, extra appliance bulb, 40 watts to store or just throw away, so if anyone is in need of a small, appliance bulb.... 40 watts, please let me know. You can have mine.... if I do not forget where I put it.
Well, at least we did not have to buy a new fridge---although I HAVE seen one I liked had that been the case
