Tis the Season...

Talk about Winter arriving all at once. While we were out today, we saw the first snowflakes. (Not as good tasting as December snowflakes.) Then when we got to Walmarts, we were greeted by a Christmas Tree and the accompaning Christmas Carols. I looked for the  fat man in the red suit, but  did not see him. Can Spring be far behind?

  1. Wow. What a contrast! It's supposed to be near 80 here tomorrow!

  2. Well, I don't know what kind of language they speak in Colorado, but we definitely saw the flakes here as well. Once the kids got home, I saw flakes...coincidence? he he he. Anyway, I immediately called them all out to see the snieg. You would have thought someone gave them a hundred dollar bill or something. They were all excited, but Billy and Eddie went so far as to do a snow dance of sorts, and they all took great joy in harrassing their mother with the four letter word of white.
Earlier in the day, we were at Target and it was comparable to the Big Bang theory. We saw the aisles of Halloween stuff shrink to a compressed few shelves, where the Christmas decorations seemed to explode. Alas,...no Turkey Trees. What is the world coming to?!

  3. And believe it or not, Florida is somewhere in the middle...we had a "cold" front come thru and it is gloriously in the 40s right now, have on sweats and my hands wrapped around a cup of hot coffee. TOTALLY has put me in the festive holiday spirit. Pretty sure we won't see the white stuff but soooooo enjoying this!

  4. And I, for one, am happy that Winter is on its way. I know it sounds insane but I do LOVE the cold weather but make sure I am always bundled up appropriately---pretty much look like a round ball all Winter.
