Don't know what on the planet made me think of it today, but here I am, thinking of Banana Koogle and Chocolate Koogle that we used to spread on Wonder bread and eat all the time. Apparently there was also a Cinnamon-flavored one, but I do not remember that at all. And how about Space Sticks?? At least those you can still find online (Amazon has them, actually).
Ah well...just a little nostalgia to get you thru this Hump Day.
Ahh, having Space Sticks for snack, while drinking Fruit Juicy Red Hawaiian Punch out of those little jelly jars turned juice glasses...and wasn't afternoon Summer Mass held on the sunporch? Neon florescents around the basement bar, crawling through that small hole into the "darkroom". I still have the 1800's rifle with broken bayonette by the way, as well as the Looney Tunes Album which Kevin and I purchased at Kresge's, I think it was. I wonder if you could get Koogle at the Piggly Wiggly, out by the cottage. Nostalgia goes a long way. I think I have to go upstairs and play a little of the Faygo song on my piano...get out those comic books and rubber bands....
