Re: LEAP YEAR

As you may or may not recall from last Leap Year, I remarked how 

Feb 28 was actually really March 1st, no matter what some people try to say changing the calendar like that. Last year, It would be March 1st at this moment in time... Next year,,, ditto. And who had the bright idea of giving us an extra day in February, for pete's sake... Any moron who thought about it would have said, hey, we need an extra day in the calendar... lets add a nice summer day... JUNE 31.... MORONS! and so there is no longer a February 29. We will all enjoy the extra summer day this year in June.

Demo is Done

Big post is out, it will get rebuilt much smaller. Tile and carpet is also out - wood floors throughout!

No, you're eyes are right. That pipe leans by 2" - yeah.....See that little window on the right (that goes over the sink)

Here's the new window size - thereabouts. Nice views of Red Rocks and the foothills from the kitchen now and it won't feel like a cave.

Remodeling.....

Movers came on Saturday, and contractors started the demo today.

House looks so big and empty with all the furniture gone. And when Indy barks upstairs, the echo hurts my ears!

Day 1 of living in the basement. Only 60+ more days to go. Yikes.
