And so it begins...



It's been an extremely busy last few months.   I've been traveling, schmoozing, working hard, playing hard....but the things I HAVEN'T been doing as I should are consistent workouts and watching the booze intake.   For me, a cookie isn't the temptation...a cocktail is.

Clothes are way too snug and I wasn't liking how I was feeling so January begins a month of No Imbibing for me.   I am sure some days (Tuesdays around 2pm) will be easier than others (Friday, Saturday, Sunday...).   But I very distinctly recall giving up booze for Lent a couple of years ago and I lost weight.  Without trying.  Didn't change a single other habit.  So I am smart enough to know where my weakness (and calories) lie.

Going to even try to make it to mid-February, when our winter visitors start to come down.    But I'm not promising that.  

Give me strength!   And...looser pants!!
