A monkey wearing a miniature shearling coat and diapers spotted by shoppers in the parking lot of a Toronto Ikea store.
The owners, who were shopping in the store at the time, have come forward to claim the monkey. The animal was in a car in the parking lot and it somehow let itself out of its crate.
"It's a smart monkey," the owner said.

HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!! Excellent. Altho really with the Shearling coat????
ReplyDeleteThe article doesn't do the monkey's intelligence justice.
ReplyDeleteThe Monkey acquired the Shearling coat at the nearby Nordstrom. Got a smoking deal on it through some shrewd haggling with nothing more to his name than 4 bananas and the family dog. Had the coat altered for free while he waited, and the proceeded to the nearby IKEA to find his owner (who he tracked via mobile phone) after dining on a plate of meatballs in the IKEA cafeteria.
It should also be noted that The Monkey was the only shopper at IKEA that moved in an opposite direction to the painted arrows on the floor and was able to properly navigate the 'shortcut' doors (which btw are based on some twisted Swedish parody of the childhood favorite 'Chutes and Ladders').
HA!! Kevin, I like your explanation!!!
