WEDNESDAY MARCH 1, 2012

WINTER IS OVER!

It being really March 1st, no matter what some people try to say changing the calendar like that. Last year, It would be March 1st at this moment in time... Next year,,, ditto. And who had the bright idea of giving us an extra day in February, for pete's sake... Any moron who thought about it would have said, hey, we need an extra day in the calendar... lets add a nice summer day... JUNE 31.... MORONS!

Anyway, from now on, any white stuff coming down is not real snow.... I have spoken.

Here's a thought... lets make all Non-February months of the year uniformly 31 days. that way we can take those days away from... and make February only 24 days long. And with any other similar ideas, we can make that evil month disappear entirely... or just appear for one day, every Leap Year.

  1. Or you can just adopt the Druidic Calendar (I admit I don't know what the following means):

"The alternative solution recommended by the Galactic Research Institute (GRI) is to account for the time variance of the quarter day in a harmonic fashion. In other words - there are 13 leap year days every 52 years. Instead of having an extra day every four years, why not have a thirteen day-out-of-time jubilee celebration every 52 years - an entire thirteen day festival of Peace through Culture! This option upholds the integral patterns of the 13 moon calendar, remaining in phase with the 260-day galactic count and its harmonic overlay on the year cycle. (Currently, since leap year is observed, each leap year observed takes one day out of the thirteen day wavespell out of time, scheduled for 2039 AD)."

  3. Sorry, Kirsten... The Druids did not... They did not come on the scene until about a 1,000 years after it was built. They just used the site because it was cool.

  4. Oh well...that's what I meant. Stonehenge is cool, therefore those who used it are cool.

  5. OH, where should I start. let's start with Kevin's input, because it's so easy to dis with one movie quote, "Just because I don't know what it means, doesn't mean I'm wrong." Now dad, the only problem as I see it, with not adding a 29th of Feb to any year, is that in just a little over 700 years summer would be winter and vice versa. Now, I don't know about the rest of you, but I intend on living for quite some time, and I would rather like my summers to be warm, thank you:) But what the heck, by the time you guys see my answer, it may be March already anyway. HEY, guess what, it's March already...in Australia
